Miriam W. Omolo, Ph.D.- Member, Board of Directors

Miriam W. Oiro Omolo, Ph.D. is a member of the Board of Directors. She has over 15 years of experience in international trade, and development and poverty issues having working at the Institute of Economic Affairs and the African Economic Research Consortium both in Kenya. She also consults for the World Bank on poverty and inequality and urban development in Kenya.

She holds a doctorate degree in economics from University of South Africa, where she examined the impact of trade policy reforms on household welfare in Kenya Using a computable general equilibrium model. Her main areas of research interest are: trade and development, poverty and welfare and the emerging extractive sector. Miriam is a network member of the African Economic Research Consortium and African Growth Policy Modelling Network hosted by the International Food Policy Research Institute.


Arthur Ogonji - Member, Board of Directors

Arthur Ogonji is a member of the Board of Directors. He has over 18 years experience in finance, out of this time, he spent 9 years as finance and administration expatriate in Francophone countries of West Africa. He is currently pursuing an MBA degree from the Regent Business School, Durban South Africa. This postgraduate degree complements strengths in financial management, strategic planning, internal controls and decision-making processes. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree B.Com, Accounting option, University of Pune, India and an Advanced Diploma in French –Diplôme Supérieur from University of Pune, India.
